A Meeting with our Local Legislators

We were so proud to host our local legislators at the Lake County Tech Campus for a discussion on regional funding and the future of work-based learning.

Held on November 4, 2025, it was an incredible opportunity to showcase the growth of Give Me TEN and Tech 50 — programs that connect education, business, and community through real, hands-on experiences that prepare students for successful careers.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Senator Mary Edly-Allen, Senator Adriane Johnson, Representative Laura Faver-Diaz, Representative Joyce Mason, Representative Dan Didech, Rueben (staff for Senator Rita Mayfield), and Dominik Bronakowski (staff for Representative Bob Morgan) for taking time to visit, listen, and support our mission to strengthen both students and local businesses.

A huge shout-out to the students who prepared the beautiful charcuterie snack spread and to the students who shared their experiences — your voices and professionalism truly showcased what the Tech Campus is all about.

The energy, collaboration, and shared commitment in the room today reminded us what’s possible when we invest in our youth and workforce together.
